Hiking in a native forest

Experience the unique feeling of walking within a native forest, with breathtaking views and without any noise from the civilisation, accompanied by one of our rangers.

With only 2% of native forests left in Mauritius, Ferney La Vallée is home to a 103-ha conservation zone where multiple endemic plants and birds are being reintroduced every year. The famous and unique Kestrel birds live in Ferney and can be seen every day at noon for the Kestrel feeding activity.

Our tip:

Do not hesitate to ask questions to our rangers. They will be very happy to share tips and stories, you will not find in manuals, on the fauna and flora you will encounter.
